TARGETED OUTREACH

After years of prayer and seeking God's guidance, the leaders and membership of CtS had an epiphany. As a small church we are called to steward our human and financial resources by targeting our outreach to a particular community. We cannot "do it all," but by targeting our efforts can can make a significant impact.

Our targeted outreach is to those who "have met God or explored the concept of God first in church basements rather than in church pews." Our principal outreach is to those in the recovery community based in the Arbutus and Halethorpe area just outside of Baltimore, Maryland. Our focus is to share the redeeming love of Jesus with those who may have felt judged and shunned. We walk alongside our neighbors in humility and love.
