Welcome to Christ the Savior Anglican Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We are a small, growing congregation and we love Jesus. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. We enjoy our time of worship and seek to balance reverence with a family feel. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. Everything you need will be found on the screen, enabling you to join in freely and without worry. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.

COMFORTABLE AND CASUAL

No matter your faith or family background, you're welcome at Christ the Savior. We love the un-churched, the de-church, and the skeptical about church. We love Jesus and those who love Jesus, those who do not yet know Jesus, and those who have hurts and doubt and questions about Jesus. We are authentic people engaged in authentic faith. We don't have a ll the answers, but we know and worship the One who does.

Sermon

We draw our scripture readings from The Revised Common Lectionary. Our messages tend to highlight and explore one of the 4 (yes, 4!) readings of the day. We preach Christ and Him crucified. It is not unusual for there to be questions asked and answers given. We laugh a lot as we encounter the Living Word.

Biblical Teaching

Here at Christ the Savior, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together  to learn, be encouraged and and to be challenged by God's Word. Our Wednesday evening Bible study (done via Zoom) provides time for deeper feeding and reflection on the riches of the Scriptures. We work together to "hear, read, learn, and inwardly digest" what the Bible has to speak to us today.
